The various historical events its inspired by give GOT its charm imo (backstabbing, deceptions, crappy leaders etc) but the fantasy element gives it all a nice bit of fun
AND im always amazed that a crazy show featuring dragons and seers and witches is such a huge hit with so many of my co-workers

Apparantly he failed several times so they wound up hiring a cyclist stunt guy

They buried the body in the bogs around the river and the whole lowlands area was gonna be flooded in a few weeks for a water supply/reservoir...they even went there to canoe and hunt it one last time before a dam was finished
I doubt anyone even knew the body was there...and it would have been unrecognizable a few months later ...
They seemed like they were gonna keep their mouths shut so...no prosecution
