Yes, me too. The mom was the big problem. tbh there was something off-putting about her. Suzanne Pleshette syndrome. He's drugged up. I liked the part of Patton playing traffic cop for the tanks He's a little above par which is 10x better than all the other crap. Ingrates! it happens ALL THE TIME. Believe it or not Glen Campbell is one of the top 5 guitarists ever. Can't leave out EVH too. Yes! Yes, he's not the same I actually watch Shane Gillis right now. I'm even bored of Bill Burr. Chappelle is one of the funniest ever his "Goddamn!" is perfect it's just time to move on to younger, hungrier comedians like Gillis. Red Planet was ROCK BOTTOM. I would look at the tv schedule for last week I saw The Thing on opening night and I thought it was great I talked about it repeatedly with my dad. From what I remember it was a very crowded movie summer and Thing was hardly promoted by Universal and it was hard R blood and guts. To top it off there was at least one very long boring scene that killed the continuity..Blade Runner had this problem as well. If Carpenter had included the Super suspenseful night chase scene to go kill the dog(s) it could have saved the film. Or just delay The Thing to a Halloween or Xmas release there was a whole lot of mistakes that caused this movie to be practically ignored upon its original release. Well, he got his just desserts..he committed heinous sexual crimes and will never leave prison alive. "Deliverdeath" Yep same story What was really unintentionally funny is that it went from Lew being in total darkness to bright dawn in the blink of an eye. Mangold resigning to his fate that his directing career is OVER. The security guard was a 17 year old kid. Or the child rapist/murderer.
