To my shock I loved this movie.
Fun, action packed, good story, and Momoa and Wilson are a great team.
Plus it’s only two hours instead of the almost three hours superhero films usually are.
Forget all the negative reviews and gripes. This is worth a watch.

shareTheir chemistry as brothers with one being more serious and the other a frat bro is on point that's for sure. The movie isn't as bad as the ratings though, decent for the holidays.
When I saw it today the theater was more than half-full. CGI face capture on the bodies was jarring though, you can see it doesn't look right with the wavy hair while they speak. Here I was thinking they sold out to China again but its just the quality has degraded for Hollywood.
Agree about CGI but it wasn’t bad enough to ruin the film for me.

shareSaw it last night. I wanted to enjoy it but I thought it was just okay at best. As a whole I thought it just didn't really come together in a satisfying way. The plot was derivative, most of the humor didn't land for me, and the story was a bit of a mess.
It wasn't terrible but I was bored throughout much of the film. The first movie is a superior film by far.
But was there racial diversity among the population of Atlantis? I was disappointed not to see an Asian Atlantian in the first movie
shareI actually liked it a lot too. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s far from perfect but still quite enjoyable in my opinion.
