Why are people on twitter saying SpiderGwen is probably a guy?
Are there any hints that she's really a he, or is it wishful thinking?

shareI say go ahead and make Gwen into a Transwoman and Make Miles flamingly gay. And make them both as obnoxious as possible. So i don't have to watch overrated movies about them. Not to mention making Peter Parker Dead Girlfriend into Miles love interest is creepy as hell. Sounds like a Zombie movie.
shareIt supposedly is that her character arc is allegory for being trans (her dad struggling to accept her identity.) It says ‘Protect trans kids’ in her room, the colours in her universe are colours of the trans flag and her dad has the trans flag on his uniform.
I’ve seen the film twice and the allegory is definitely there even though I don’t think she is trans. Twitter are going nuts about it though of course as they do.
I've not seen the film but would it really change anything if she were really a guy?
shareIt clearly changes things for the activists, otherwise they wouldn't be pushing it so hard. For us fans? The ones who've known her since the 60s? Her name is Gwen Stacy, she's a biological woman, she's blonde, and she's straight.
Don't change any of that, otherwise what's the point in having her at all? It'd just be a different character, like what they did with Jessica Drew. That black pregnant woman with the stereotypical afro isn't Jessica. She could've - and should've - just been an original black Spider-Woman.
