Who asked for this?!?

Every time I see news regarding this show, I'm like, who's this for? Who was asking for this? Like I'm genuinely baffled

Of all the characters in the Star Wars Universe, they picked one of the most bland & uninteresting characters to make a show about.

reply

The Karens of Disney have willed this into existence and they don't care that only they want it.

reply

Eh, they could do worse for a basic idea, they *have* done worse!

At least so far, because yeah, I don't like the Boba Fett show. He's a character who works a lot better in small doses.

reply

I'm currently in the middle of the Book of Boba Fett. Wondering if it'll get better.

The Mandalorian is miles better

I guess it will:

a) give people a lot of work in an industry which needs it
b) save costs by using a lot of property established for the Star Wars prequels and existing TV shows and
c) enable Star Wars fans to see more of the universe they love.

I'm just surprised they didn't give it to the female character in Rogue One in this day and age.

That's honestly a very positive way of looking at it.

I mean the lead, Diego Luna, is Mexican. Not saying that in a hateful/negative way, just that it still ''ticks some boxes'' in the diversity aspect

reply

Oh he'll either be surrounded or upstaged by a bunch of other females/alphabet soup freaks to justify having a male in the lead.

Even in Boba Fett, with an older Maori in the lead role, he still had to be upstaged by his Pokemon-trainers-for-hire Power Ranger cosplay-gang and his Asian female sidekick.

Expect the same from this show.

reply

Kathleen Kennedy, I am guessing. Why? Heaven only knows.

reply

I just remembered that he died in Rogue one.

One of the reasons Black Widow flopped because people knew she was dead and what was the point to watch her prequel.

reply

Black Widow isn't a prequel , the movie is set between CA:Civil War and Infinity War

reply

She died in Endgame.

It is set before Endgame.

So a Prequel.

reply

a prequel to what? , is a Black Widow standalone movie , then also Iron Man 1 is a prequel because Tony died in Endgame?
Stupid logic.

reply

Iron Man 1 is a prequel because Tony died in Endgame

Don;t think you understand what a prequel is or means.

Tony Stark story started with Iron Man and ended at Endgame. No Iron Man was not a prequel, don't be daft.

Black Widow Story Started in Iron Man 2 and ended with her death with Endgame. Then her stand alone movie came after those events and so is a prequel.

Someone needs to learn what prequels are,

reply

i don't need to learn what is a prequel but perhaps you do , retard
