Is there anyone who seriously wants to see this?
I didn't realize Cassian's character was so interesting that it warranted his own spin off series.

sharei think they are trying to milk this franchise all the can until people are tired of it, disney did the same thing to marvel, too many spin offs.
sharePerhaps the most unnecessary and bizarre choice of character for a spin off in the history of movies ..I mean not only wasn't he the main character from the film.. he wasn't even the most memorable new character from the film (the robot and the blind I am one with the Force guy). And just the other day I literally had to look up who Cassian was when saw the title logo on the announcement Disney thing and then remembered like oh yeh they doing a prequel series bout that Rogue 1 guy
Be like..idk.. lets have a $200m prequel miniseries about.. the Bond girl who gets killed in Skyfall .. or the Police chief who gets shot dead in The Dark Knight Rises.. just..why??
It's very bizarre, there is nothing interesting or iconic about his character, not to mention that whoever played him can't act to save his life. Disney seriously needs to just stick with the Mandalorian, it's actually good.
shareHe was the second lead, though. He was "Han" to Jyn's "Luke" (and yes, I know there's no real comparison in that comparison)
In Skyfall, it'd be closer to making a spinoff about M, Q, or De Silva, and TDKR would maybe be a Catwoman movie or doing a sequel about Jim Gordon or Blake's tenure as the Batman.
Rogue One, at least, bought some badly needed original characters to the SW universe, but now we've got a spin-off of a spin-off. Can't be worse than the Obi-Wan series tho.
shareAnything can ALWAYS be worse. That is a rule of the universe.
There are sever limits to that which is superlative. There are no limits to that which is dire.
