Excellent Second Episode

The first episode set the stage well, and the second episode is equally good. The quality across the board is equal to any theatrically released MCU film, and the story, acting, and visuals are great. This feels like a film, not a TV show, and a great film at that.

Second episode was way better. Good chemistry between F & W and even the new captain team was fun too at least with dialogue.

Good action and a bit of old timey racism playing out here.

Funny, I drifted off during the second episode because of the total lack of substance!

Miss a little, miss a lot.

Watch it again before you watch the third episode because this series is so densely packed that it is staggering.

But then again it really depends in what you personally define as "substance" and entertains you. What Marvel has done quite expertly is a carry-over from their print lines. Marvel understands their characters and the MCU continues to build their stories around those characters. The series is called Falcon and the Winter Soldier and each episode focuses on Sam Wilson and James "Bucky" Buchanan.

If audiences can't or wont connect or identify with any of the "characters" then the series appeal is or will be lost on the audience.

I don't rate any part of this show excellent. This show just blows. The story is going no where the action is just so PG.. ney.. G rated.

The whole thing is silly jokes and bringing every third rate character they can back to the show.

reply

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You “seem” to hate a lot of things like all the kewl big boy detractors and contrarians up in this place do, huh? PG/G? Damn, edgelords gonna edge.

Projecting infantile propagandists spewing garbage (edgy and stinky but luckily small garbage) as always. 😴 Well, hate on as yer kind does best. Petty things

reply

I love that people getting shot and stabbed is G rated apparently. I mean, we all remember when Snow White pulled out a knife and stabbed a Dwarf.

IMO, the production values suffer in comparison to the first Captain America movie, now more than a decade old.
