Not for nothing, but I respect and also laugh at the budget-conscious “we don’t wear uniforms” narrative decision. Wardrobe budget could not spring for uniforms; and casting could not spring for adult actors with the maturity this interstellar mission required?! Where’s the fun in that? What’s the age of the average Netflix viewer? I am guessing 19.
I'm a few more episodes in now and I can see what you and the original poster mean about the show. I am put off by their sheer lack of professionalism and all the sex and all the "I am sorry!" stuff going on. I'll see it through to the end but it's also a bit tiring how each episode ends with some new serious problem.

It's not a sci-fi show these days unless they diss Christians, slam God, and make all the secular humanists and atheists look like they're the only people who can make it into space.

shareSame problem as on the recent Twilight Zone space mission episode. The crew has the emotional stability of a group of second graders. Astronauts are supposed to be highly vetted and trained. Maybe a few break down when things go sideways, but not the whole crew.
