Anyone else finds Kristen Wiig is more attractive than Gal Galdot?
Gal Galdot's beauty is too conventional, in your face.
I prefer the dirty blonde.
I preferred Wiig more natural and fun as opposed to Gadot's more try hard approach.
I also find it hard to believe that Wiig's character wouldn't have received attention she was slim, blonde, attractive, with the glasses she had the whole sexy teacher/geek thing happening. The shy quiet personality. What isn't to like?
They tried to hit her with the ugly stick and no one was buying it.
shareWell, Wiig's moderately attractive nerdy-gal character seemed to be a person who'd totally fail to notice male attention if it came her way, or if she'd noticed, to lack the social skills to draw anyone in. Like if she ever went out for drinks with a guy, she'd have a few and spit out a mouthful of alcohol onto his shirt when she laughed, or say something offensive as a drunken joke, and when he didn't call again she'd go back to thinking of herself as completely unattractive. I've known some nerdy women in my day, some of whom could have been quite attractive with a little effort, and Wiig completely nailed that part of her role. (The badass superhero, not as much.)
Wiig actually did carry off the Hollywood cliche of the plain-Jane who suddenly looked 10-0x more attractive after an impromptu makeover, and BTW the film's costume designer also nailed the outfit for the impromptu makeover in the first act.
Gadot is absolutely stunning, but Wiig's glasses/nerd-bait look is definitely my type.
