for me The Big Drop is going to be domestically....
Wonder Woman had INSANE legs domestically due the massive women's movement that got behind the film and due to the Great Quality of the film.
IMO its going to be very difficult for WW84 to match WW's domestic gross.
Captain Marvel ended up beating WW in every possible way, Including domestically(Wink*Wink)
My Prediction is pretty similar to DP2....in fact I predicted it back in 2016 for Deadpool 2,WW 2 and Black Panther 2....
I didnt think any of the 3 would be able to match the predecessors success except I did predict WW2 would have a larger Opening Weekend than WW1 but would then fail to match WW1s totals both domestically and World Wide
My prediction for DP2 ended up hitting(although I could have never predicted a re-release with Once upon a Deadpool that would push it over DP1's WW gross) but the point is, DP2 did fail to match DP1s OW, domestic total and WW gross(something another posted LAUGHED and said I was crazy for predicting)
for me I see WW84 having similar success.
I think WW84 will Opening higher than WW...Maybe around 135 to 155 Million.
But then It Will fail to match WW's success domestically, Probably topping out between 350 to 375.
as for World Wide Totals, In 2016, I thought WW2 had ZERO chance of matching WWs World Wide total, But I must admit, after the overseas success of Aquaman and Joker, There is clear evidence DC is building a strong Overseas following(not as strong as The MCU) but its impressive.
I think WW84 should make around 550 to 600 Million overseas, putting its total gross around 900 to 950 Million...
1 Billion Is NOT Impossible, but IMO very unlikely.....WW84 Matching Captain Marvel's RECORD World Wide Gross or Domestic total for a female superhero film Is IMO ZERO
I also predict WW84 wont be nearly as praised, I'm thinking a RT score somewhere around 70 to 77%
Also Predicting after seeing the Trailer Kristen Wig is going to completely BOMB in this film and Be a Massive problem and All time AWFUL CBM villain...
from what I've read, Wiig's Villains Is basically a copy of Jamie Fox's Electro in TASM2, and based off the trailer, I think Wig might be as AWFUL ....
PS I really like Wiig and I just think she was disastrously Miscast and It seems The Role may be destined for failure(the role was wrote for Emma Stone and Offered to her, she read the script and part and turned it down) I think Its clear why ...

Which is why everyone likes WW and a lot of people dislike Captain marvel.
