This movie won because it's a foreign film and Hweird wanted to virtue signal in more ways than they usually do. The irony is that it was able to get away with lack of diversity because it's a non-White film. A Swedish or even a Polish movie would could never be able to win pest picture these days.

America is literally the most diverse country in the world by a wide margin. Most cultures are primarily homogeneous. And yet the left in this country constantly criticizes America for not being diverse enough. Talk about stupid.
