Wow....

It seems we REALLY didn't know Isaac at all, not after what his people did this last episode.

reply

That was a shocking twist!

reply

I knew Issac was gathering intel on humans for not so benevolent reasons. But they really went nuts with it!

reply

I'm hoping that he'll turn good at the last minute and stop his people from destroying all organics. I can't bear the idea of getting rid of him, and having him learn nothing from his time on the Orville.

Isaac is/was my favorite character. I'd like for him to remain on the show, but I'm not sure how this mess would play out for that to happen.

reply

I'm convinced he'll save the day. He began to have "emotions" towards the doctor when they dated so hopefully that will trigger his rescue. I also noticed he was the one who came for her children. Was it to make sure they would remain safe?

I'm expecting more surprises for the next episode, but I still want to see a wedding between him and Claire.

reply

I share your optimism. Remember that he had to "rewire" himself to be capable of certain things not long ago. That is probably enough to put him outside the group think of his race.

reply

All the foundation is laid for the youngest son of the doctor to be what turns Isaac against his people to save the day. It's all gonna work out.

reply

Maybe he'll rally other blue eyes against the red eyes. Then again, he threw that sweet little boy's drawing away, so he might really be a baddie.

I was also hoping he and the Doctor would make it work but after this I don't see a way back fro him.

I know! 'It' got into the argument about its superiority with the kids and then suddenly got cut off. Maybe it's kind were worried it might reveal their planet's past since it has some understanding/close experience of human emotions or something.

I'm guessing will somehow be able to make those orbs blow themselves up through some kind of sabotage or something.
