I'd be surprised. This is Universal's biggest franchise alongside the Jurassic Park/World movies.

good point, I have heard rumors of a Fast 10 part 1 and part 2. but has yet to be confirmed.

That's what I've seen too. 11 will be the second part of 10, not a separate sequel.

yeah, they were supposed to be shooting a back to back two parter. but after the poor reception of 9 and the director abandoning ship, who knows.

Tess O'Conner = Brian O'Conner.

It's the big reveal they're keeping under wraps for now but Brie Larson is playing the transitioned version of Brian.

It's a way of appealing to today's more enlightened audiences who enjoy seeing diversity in their films as well as paying tribute to the late Paul Walker by keeping his / her character alive.

In story, it also explains his / her absence from the past couple of films as they privately underwent physical changes whilst the rest of the gang were enjoying their adventures. Mia will be shown to be fully supportive of her now gay partner.
