I think my biggest issue with the film, was that Chris all of a sudden turned Violent very quick and killed everyone in brutal ways rather then trying to survive and just 'get out' he kills them all in real harsh violent ways, it was like his character had turned from what he really was.
I was cheering with all the kills but it just felt out of character those last 15 mins
He was insulted, misled by his lady, humiliated, scared out of his mind, hypnotized, strapped down and very nearly butchered by psychos...i thought he showed amazing restraint in dealing with that clan of lunatics
shareNo, I really liked that he killed them all immediately. How many horror films have you seen where the escapee just hits their assailant and runs away, but doesn't actually finish them off? And you just know the killer is going to get up in a minute and have another go at killing them. He did what horror movie victims should do, killed them and moved on. I got the feeling he had seen a few movies and knew what had to be done, no faffing about...kill the dude and Get Out!

Didn't do a very good job on Jeremy 1st time round did he? He also left Rose there to bleed out, in horror movie terms that means they're escaping death and coming back for you.
shareNo, actually he waited for too long, but I think it was because he is a nice man and had some black guilt of not wanting to be found in a white house after killing everybody in it.
I mean, I would have started to behave violently right after finding the pictures in the box, ANY action would be acceptable after that for me to get out, but I'm not black.
Hell no! I think he waited a bit too long. He was lucky to survive.

I call it survival instinct. He knew that they could not just let him go. Note that both the mother and brother tried to kill him. Given the situation, I would say that his reaction was reasonable and normal.
shareHe killed them with whatever means were available and he was in survival mode. Plus even with all he went through, he had showed compassion for Georgina and that almost cost him his life.

shareNope. Loved that. Sick of horror movies where the character gets some kind of weird inability to act rationally. Chris knew he had to put those people *down* and that's what he did.
