The bond between a young man and his car is a much more compelling story.

And it works. I generally dislike how they write girls in these roles, normally making them too tough, or a tomboy etc.

Well I haven't seen the movie yet, but she seems pretty feminine to me in the trailers.

It could be that she's a little tomboyish, but then again, in real life some girls are.

If you have a bond with your car but it cannot transform into a giant robot, that pretty much screams “loser”.

They're trying to subvert expectations or something or other. The 80's TV show had giant robots, space, laser beams etc, hardly screams girl show. Why the media is so against boys having things I do not know.

They already try that in all the others Transformers movie and they all sucks. So i can understand why they are trying something new.

They should of just wrote this as a girl and a horse movie and just cross out Horse and replaced it with Car in the script.
