Is anyone watching this?

Anyone? Tumbleweeds?

reply

Yep, seems generally good so far.

Starting to like the Christine Baranski character as a favorite.

Don't understand why Mrs. Russell doesn't just start her own society.

The financial stuff seems a little iffy. Would the councilman really have invested everything he had in such a dubious scheme, for example? He could have just bought stock, for example. He didn't have to get options. And he could have put away some money for a rainy day. So it's not extremely believable. It could have been if the writer had put some motivations in for him to be acting that way.

reply

Yes ... I'm also watching it as well.

reply

Of course you're watching it, joi2049. You're a paid shill for HBOMAX.

reply

So, no one I don’t have on Ignore is watching this.

reply

Lmao. I’m watching it. But there are so few people around here, how can you be putting any on ignore?

reply

Because we are awash in an ocean of assholes and imbeciles.

reply

Finished the 1st 2. I’ll say I enjoyed Downton Abbey. 2 episodes out of 4 of this done and pretty much nothing has happened.

Way too much unnecessary green screen. No memorable actors in the least. No memorable locations.

Pretty weak.

You consider a man killing himself because he was OUT FOXED by another man that he tried to ruin financially (who ruined him instead) is nothing happening?

Or the writing career of the other character (who was told that she couldn't use her real name or take credit for writing her own stories) is nothing?

Imo, The SNOBBERY and the BACK STABBING type of PREDATORY nature of some of these characters is definitely appauling.

reply

I am watching it on DVD.

reply

Yes and I like it.

reply

I like it too, did the exhibition with Edison really happen? Mrs. Russell can be really heartless at times. Just to get a foot in society, but they were mean to her as well.

reply

There was no gay sex scenes in S.2

reply

That's a relief.
