I prefer the first one

this one had some stale jokes.

I think I might prefer this one, I thought it was slightly funnier than the first. Both great though. That's surprising to me because I don't like most comic book movies.

First movie had a lot more one liners. This movie had whole comedy bits. The problem is, if you don't like the bit, it takes the whole scene down it it. Like that stupid "you got any tape?" bit. Ground the movie to a halt.

that was soo forced.

I didn't mind this one but yeah I agree that the first one just seemed like the team had much better chemistry and it wasn't so eager to please.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/4yxQsi5ERi4

Actually, I think you nailed it: the whole THING was too forced. There was no spontaneity to the humor, it felt VERY planned and laid out, almost to the point where you could predict a funny point was coming.

To be certain there were small moments that were great: Groot eating the Skittles as they crashed was an example one, but overall, kind of a hackneyed film.

While ridiculous and drawn out way too far, at least that wasn't as bad as the baby Groot bringing back the wrong thing to help Yondu and Rocket out of their prison cell bit. Good god that was painful to watch as it just kept getting more and more stupid and it seemed like it wouldn't end. 2 wrong items might have been fine, but they decided on 10. WAY too much.

I hated everything about Baby Groot. Thought it would be cute, but was overused and annoying. I cringed every single time Baby Groot did anything. Teen Groot was great though.

Overall I like the first one better. The only good thing here was visiting Ego. I barely remember what else happened.

I kept falling asleep during the endless chase/fight scenes, and each time I woke up they were still going on. Boring and exhausting.
