feminist agenda

The Long-awaited sequel to the 2004 Pixar film “The Incredibles” finds Helen Parr/Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) out fighting crime while her husband Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) is at home watching the kids. The new villain is The Underminer (voice of John Ratzenberger).

Sounds like another way to indoctrinate kids that being a emasculated male is ok...after all, it's just a cartoon, right?

Too funny that there's actually a villain in this called The Underminer. Undermining is right.

Caring for children is emasculation, wow. I hope you never have kids, you'll obviously believe that your duty is to be absent.

^
Which seems to prove my point the emasculation is working.

reply

You sound triggered. Sorry you're so easily threatened :(

Actually, one point the first film made was that working a soul-destroying job and having no relationship with your kids is... emasculating!

So they've got him doing the opposite, which by your logic should have his dick growing a foot longer.

reply

Yeah, I hope it doesn't turn out the way a lot of people think it will. Imo, they shouldn't be making a sequel at all. They waited freaking 14 years! That's too long! Like, really? Please don't put feminist agenda in a movie that's supposed to be about a super hero family sticking together. It's supposed to be about the whole family kicking butt, not just one character. But who knows, maybe the movie will be really good and not be what people expect.

aww caring for children is now considered emasculating. In other news, Sandoz has proven to be a time traveler and we'd like him to go back to the 40's where he never has to grow up.

reply

At least they kept Elastigirl's butt big and thick like in the first film. That's the only thing i care about in this film.

reply

He's not being emasculated. That'll come later when Helen starts banging some superhero down at the office. Cause Bob's a great guy, you know, I mean a really great guy, and he makes pasta and packs the kids lunches and takes the boys to ballet and the girl to football and bakes muffins for the PTA meetings, but gosh golly... it's been so stressful fighting crime at work and Bob's a bit boring... sweet but boring... and she's only gonna bang this guy this one time... twice at the most... three times a week tops; and you know it's her turn to go out and take on the world because she was at home all those years and she only makes 95 cents to every dollar that Frozone makes and... and... and... the struggle continues. #me_thru

Disney won't do unbiased storytelling by the looks of things.

I've heard that this movie will not be very appealing to douchebags,so you probably wouldn't like it anyway.
