I mean kinda obvious what they're doing aint it? Characters who was white in the game just now being black, betting they'd never consider making Henry and Sam white eh? Its just annoying how white characters are willy nilly swapped with another race while every other race is always left as is and not dare touched in adaptations.

Before anyone says it, i'm not racist, i wouldn't want them making Henry and Sam white, can we at least try and be authentic to the game a little? Joel being Mexican i can let slide cause he can still pass for game Joel somewhat, its not too far off.

It’s called representation. Why oh why does it bother you so much that you have to post this? Truly it’s not a big deal. It’s not forced diversity either. The characters didn’t change and honestly that shows right there that no matter the color of the skin, we are all the same underneath.

The responses to your post so far are very telling. These same people would respond in outrage if an iconic black character were changed into a white character, but respond in indifference and say “why do you care so much, it’s no big deal” when white characters are blackwashed.

This is how it usually goes with the left: we will point out something that is happening and it’s not right, and they will say it’s not happening. Then they will say it’s happening sometimes. Then they will say it is happening but it’s a good thing. Then they will demand we celebrate it.

Would I? And this really isn't an "iconic character" by any stretch of the imagination.

Not a single black character from the game was race swapped. Only the white ones. It only works one way in Hollywood LMAO.

I have no issue with black people, but don't change the race of characters for the sake of diversity. I mean i wouldn't want them to change the race of Henry and Sam who was black in the game to white characters. I wouldn't want them to change Blade into a white character. Stay true to the source material.

I was OUTRAGED when they cast Idris Elba as Heimdall, in Thor. I had a Lot of really amusing arguments with people, at the time.

Literally 9 out of 10 times "race swapping" occurs, it's white actors/characters swapping in for non-whites. They've been regularly "race swapping" entire films with white actors for decades. Yet somehow, you don't complain about this, even going as far as to lie that it never happens but find the time to cherry pick & whine about a couple of minor characters in a video game adaptation for not being white. So, yeah that's some fairly racist, selective blindness you've got there.
