Logan's extremely annoying personality

Anyone else who found Logan's personality to be kinda annoying in this movie?
I dunno if that's the directors way of saying that he's kinda dumb but it seems like in at least three instances someone told Logan what the plot was gonna be ahead of time and he always dimisses it.

Wolverine is grumpy and annoying - for lack of a better word. So he kills the essens of the character better here than in the previous.

He has always had the personality and demeanor of a grumpy adolescent... That's the character... He's meant to be an avatar for impotant teenge rage... Hence the appeal among his demo...

Not annoying, just a major asshole in this one

Logan has been that way since day one. But hell, it can be argued that his portrayal in this film is much closer to the comics than in any previous film. Having said that, he acts more disgruntled and standoffish here than in all the past films because, well, he has every reason to. He has lived for hundreds of years and has experienced a great deal of tragedy, and the only thing he’s been hoping for after all this time is death. I mean come on... as far as he knows he is one of the only mutants left, he is committed to taking care of his ailing mentor (who’s responsible for wiping out supposedly most of the mutant race), and above all he is in physical and mental pain. The guy was completely miserable, and I must say that I can’t blame him for being this way.

So his portrayal in this final film was not only true/er to the Wolverine character, but pretty much perfect for the Logan we have come to know in the films. And no, he doesn’t annoy me... unlike a lot of those who pretentiously trash any comic character and movie (specifically comic characters/movies that don’t come from a super gloomy, hopeless, and overall “edgy” world) cuz they deem themselves too “mature” for that. LOL. :P

Great post and every point is spot on
Well done

He was always crude. And in this movie, they wanted to drill the point that he was weary, irritable, and angry at the way things are. So they took the crudeness to another level.
