His one error

He’s already committed to pardoning Trump if elected. He should let Trump deal with the legal issues

reply

Sad to say, his one error was probably being Indian. Did he really think that was going to go over well in Iowa? On the conservative side?

reply

This country has had a bi-partisan consensus on racial equality since the midd60s.

And it is worth noting that the REPUBLICANS were the ones that were in favor of it, long before that, waiting for the racist dems to come to Jesus.

Only a fool or a liar would claim that hte gop voters would have a problem with Vivek because of his ethnicity.

reply

You sound so sure. Look at this reaction to a candidate that an Iowa voter had:
https://youtu.be/LOY7xC43d-E

If you don't think there is racism and discrimination out there, you're living in dreamland.

I don't see the need for namecalling in discourse. That you do shows a lot about you.

reply

Mmmm, soooooo, to support your claim of racism among republican voters, you show a DEM being against a gay candidate?

My point stands. This nation has had a bi-partisan consensus on racial equality for minorities since the mid 60s.

White racism has not been a significant force since then.

And when you smear people with a false racism claim, YOU ARE NAME CALLING.

And that you want to call people names like that, but whine like a fag when you get some push back?

Makes you a pussy.

reply

You're beneath contempt. Goodbye.

reply

I'm not the one that is whining because I called someone an name and they insulted me back.

That is YOU. That is the kind of behavior that is beneath contempt.

reply

1. I didn't say Republican voters. I said Iowa voters.
2. Yeah, you know, Intolerance is that kind of thing. You partake of it and then you want more and more. People who are intolerant of one thing tend to be intolerant of other things. It becomes a way of life. The trend is clear.
3. Bi-partisan consensus is pie in the sky. Talk about what happens on the ground in real life. Talk about Rodney King and George Floyd and a million other cases and try to claim there's racial equality. Completely preposterous.
4. No idea what that white relevance comment has on anything. Not what we're talking about.
5. I was talking about name calling people that are conversing here. You seemed to miss that little nuance, in just the same way you seem to misunderstand everything else.
6. And then you finish up with even more name calling.

You're not just beneath contempt. You should be banned from the site.

This post smells of bigoteering.

Haley is Indian too. Britain has an Indian PM. That's not it.

No, he screwed up in the first debate by implying he would not back Taiwan and Israel. And then afterwards he tried to backtrack and change. Though people liked his brashness. It made him look squirrely.

reply

True he should, but the purpose of that remark was probably not to deal with Trump, it was to try to suck in Trump supporters.
Vivek sounded like a high-pressure car salesman, and instant turn-off.
It is funny how some politician has a few good points, Ramaswamy, RFKjr., even Haley and DeSantis may say things that I agree with.

What is the point to hearing this stuff and then saying - I like that and am going to vote for these clowns? They never do what they say they will do, and if they try most of the time they cannot get agreement of the Congress.

These are just fake advertising spots, full of lies, like any product.

They just float nonsense to try to energize people, and the folks who are most energized are the ones who are the most clueless.

We don't have debates anymore. We don't even have fair appearances anymore with the irrelevant questions asked in snide or insulting tone, and the candidates not bothering to even answer the question.

The uni-party as some have called it doesn't want us to be involved in politics or policy. They want the government to be a reality show that distracts from how bad those who are supposed to represent us all are.

In my lifetime we have gone from a system that worked slowly but pretty well to a system today that is in total upset and turmoil, just noise and chaos.

reply

Trump made a fair point about the laptop in the Presidential debate.

Biden not only lied, but cited the incredibly illegal and unconstitutional cover up, to support his lie.

THAT, is a serious and significance difference.

reply

His main flaw is he’s never held any office and has no track record.

We followed Trump for 4 decades. We knew who he was. Vivek has been around for 5 minutes. He is an amazing persuasive speaker. He should go be governor somewhere and pass legislation that is in the Americans first tradition of the “MAGA country cultist agents of chaos” he claims to agree with.

reply

But it worked for Obama. The great community organizer.
