Flopman?

I think this gross as much as Green Lantern.

WW $250m

Tell your friends you heard it here first.

reply

I hope you are right cause it looks like trash to me... but I unfortunately think it will be a huge hit.

reply

Good thing people like you don't determine what films are successful.

reply

a dark character and story driven film with a good amount off seemingly well done action.if accounts are to be believed don't as a detective story which is true to batman.

not just 2d characters and cgi flash. Yaa totally looks like trash.

"why can't Michael bay direct batman!"

reply

it was a trash movie...

the best part was the batmobile though...

reply

A LOT OF MEAN SPIRITED HATERS ON THIS PLANET THESE DAYS.

reply

"Flop"?

I think you're on the wrong page. This isn't a Disney animated film or Disney-released Marvel film from the last couple of years!

lololololol

reply

Disney have released the most successful cbms over this covid hit 2 year period, what on earth are you talking about? How did ww84, tss, birds of prey do queen?

reply

All Disney released Marvel films in the last two years have lost money. Some to the tune of hundreds of millions.

I notice you didn't address the catastrophic results of Disney's animated films. Disney/Pixar is putting direct-to-streaming animated films that have production costs of 200 million. lol. The ones that actually make it to the cinema can't even crack 100 million domestically.

Hence...my original post.

reply

What else happened last two years ???

reply

Pandemic but that doesn't erase the fact that all of Disney-released Marvel films have lost money.

As for animation... you might want to check out Universal to see how to make a profit in animation during a pandemic. Disney sure isn't.

reply

Yes but heres the thing queen, you hate disney so deluded yourself into thinking that there losing millions of dollars when they havent, disney plus brings in 1 billion a month, 1 billion queen , considering the pandemic each marvel movie has performed very well, how much has wb lost? Anything to say about snyder cut, tss, birds of prey, matrix, ww84? Nah didnt think so , seem to dissaper when your presious wb release a flop, marvels just warming up queen, dr strange will crush it, lol remember when u said ww84 will be the highest grossing cbm of 2021 haha

reply

I don't "hate Disney". They are my favorite studio, actually. But...facts are facts.

reply

What are the facts queen, that the biggest highest grossing cbms of 2021 have been released by disney? You have been doing this for years queen, you even criticised endgame for having a 3rd week drop off , but you wont criticise wb releases.

reply

no one likes flopman...

reply

Lol. How’s Disney doing now that they’re no longer propped up by their media shills?

reply

A hell of a lot better than WB that's for sure lol, last Marvel movie released made $845,468,744, last WB DC movie released made erm $266,516,138

reply

This movie was terrible. And it didn't even make a profit.

reply

This is objectively untrue. It made $770 million against a $185–200 million budget, making it the seventh-highest-grossing film of 2022.

Remember, just because you wish it were true, doesn't mean it is.

reply

Well, this aged poorly.

reply

the studio was caught buying tickets. oops...

reply

Proof or it never happened.

reply

Has any movie studio ever been caught buying tickets for its own movie to boost box office performance?

Yes, there have been instances where movie studios have been accused of buying tickets for their own movies to boost box office performance. This is known as "block-buying" or "astroturfing" and it is generally considered to be unethical and potentially illegal. Some examples include the 2002 film "Windtalkers" and the 2022 film "The Batman." In both cases, the studios were accused of buying large numbers of tickets to artificially inflate the film's box office numbers. However, it's worth noting that these accusations were never proven and the studios denied any wrongdoing.

reply

Nope not how it works. Just because it's happened does that mean it proves your case in this scenario. The burden of proof is on you. You just said it was never proven therefore you have nothing. Nice try but epic fail. Once it is proven in this scenario get back to me. Until then gear up for the sequel. The sequel is happening whether you like it or not. Choke on it.

the sequel is going to be worse. the Fast franchise has had 10 sequels. nothing to be proud of Russ.

reply

Doesn't prove your case at all. Nah I think the sequel will be great just like the first was. You aren't getting your way choke on it.

reply

Twilight Man was a joke. 95% of the audience were Twilight fans...

reply

Go ahead and prove that. The sequel is happening regardless choke on it.

reply

the sequel will flop too.

I guess we will be comparing TDK and The Batman 2?

reply

The batman made more than batman begins. Even when adjusting for inflation. Sure yep but so far the batman is beating the Nolan series. It won round 1.

reply

batman begins is an origin story, this movie is not an origin story.

reply

Irrelevant it's a reboot just like Batman Begins was.

reply

I guess we will be comparing TDK and The Batman 2?

reply

Sure. As it stands the batman made more money than Batman Begins did. Round one goes to the batman.

reply

technically the batman was a flop though...

reply

Neither was the batman.

reply

it made less than TDK.

reply

But not less than Batman Begins. So if a movie makes less than TDK it's a flop? In what world? By that metric Batman Begins was also a flop.
