Maggie and Negan

This is disgusting--Why are they insistent in keeping these two together after the horribly violent way he killed Glenn? To the point of having them lead a spinoff together?

How can they expect us to forget what Negan did or Maggie to forgive him?
They have just these two leading a show? This makes no sense!

reply

They are gonna bang at some point. Lol.

Or, there is a lot of story to tell with these two characters together due their history, and it makes for good drama to watch them continue to clash.

That's what I figure --- She had plenty of time to off him when he was locked up, The others would not have stopped her

reply

Maggie tried to kill him more than once but failed. I think she sees how much he's changed and, IF I remember correctly, he saved her life too.

I'm looking forward to the show and to see how the dynamics are between them.

reply

Glenn was like 15 years ago for them. Plus, lets be honest and remember that Ricks group started it. Negan's response(bashing Glenn's head into a pulp) wasn't even a proportionate response.

Despite them having what would be the worst meet cute ever, I could see them getting together!

reply

They wouldn't just get together. She would eventually face some dark truths that it's so much better being with a real man.

reply

Bashing a mans brains in and still pulling his woman would be the ultimate Alpha move!

I saw an ad for this, and that is exactly what I wondered. What for. When I was a kid TV had a strong moral component. Probably a little to strong, but it has now swung to the point of having totalitarian mass murderers being all warm and fuzzy and misunderstood children. The best Maggie should be able to do if she was a real human character is to co-exist with Negan in the world - as long as he stays out of her space. She would be fully justified and her inner sense of justice should always be troubled by what Negan did to Rick's group. To engineer a circumstance that would really never happen in real life to justify this fake BS series just seems highly immoral and deranged and sick.

reply

I've already stated my thoughts on who caused Glenns death so won't go there

IF SHE wanted him dead it would have been very easy for her to off him and the others would not have argued about it

BUT I always felt these 2 were going to hook up

Surprised they haven't bedded down yet

reply

Because this show is written by idiots who have no real-world life experience. If someone killed my wife during the zombie apocalypse you best believe that i would end their ass the first chance that I got. This show has been written by buffoons since season two.

But you don't seem to understand that Maggie is a woman. Generally speaking, women are high emotional beings. A woman's whole inner world is driven by emotions and how they feel and that often overrides logic and reason. In this case Neegan is the former bad guy who has matured and learned the errors of his ways, yet he is still a bad boy and a better version of his former self. A logical and reasonable individual like you might think it's crazy but Maggie's attraction for Neegan isn't a choice.

Absolutely right
