Literally feels like anytime Dexter questions Harrison or thinks he's lying Harrison always says something like "Oh you calling me a liar "JIM"?" or "Oh i'm the one hiding something "JIM"?" its getting really old.
Its like his one and only defense for Dexter questioning him "Oh really "JIM"?".
I was going to make a similar thread. Harrison is an asshole. He is an indignant little prick. All the teenagers are. They're bad actors playing obnoxious people.
All the main kids tormented Ethan. Harrison stuck up for him, but seemingly preemptively stabbed him. Am I supposed to like Harrison? The bullies? The cops asshole kid who steals evidence?
He's a lazy written character, the writers are all to blame.

Don't forget, also, that he was raised by Hannah-f***ing- McKay. A sociopath raising a sociopath's child.......what could possibly go wrong there....??
Who knows what carnage she left behind her in Argentina, and stuff he saw her do......or stuff SHE made him do.......?
I'd imagine Hannah would try her best to shield him from violence and death
But we also know, beyond doubt, that murder is her go-to solution for nearly every problem, Elway being the only known exception
That’s an abandoned teenager taking potshots at dad. His mother was murdered and Dexter leaves him. Harrison is really intelligent. I don’t think he’s inherited the serial killer gene - he’s just full of rage. I guess we’ll see and then I might have to go back and delete this post. Still, I would rather NOT see angry teenagers yelling at their parents. Do you remember how caring Dexter was to little Harrison in S5 when he had the Irish nanny - it was so beautiful and baby Harrison (played by twins) was always smiling.

shareNo, while the chief will realize Dexter is a serial killer, she will also realize that he is only eliminating the trash the escapes the law and tell him to disappear. Which is what will happen. The only question to be answered is whether Harrison will still get killed by Kurt before Dexters gets Kurt.
shareI like your ending better than mine, except that leaves the way open for another season and Showtime have called this a "Special Event Series" and have said there will be no further seasons. This is the reason why I feel it needs to end in a way that reflects that aim.
shareYeah, I know Showtime doesn't plan on any more Dexters... but we all know if it gets enough viewers they will bring it back again. If he was popular when he was a senior citizen wheeling around on a scooter in a nursing home killing bad guys they would still bring him back. I just can't imagine they would create a truly final ending for the character. If they were going to do that, it would have probably happened in the original ending.
