Joker 2 mostly a "jukebox" musical, features more than 15 covers of well-known songs

It was just revealed via a Variety interview that ‘JOKER 2’ will include 15 covers of “very well-known” songs. One of the covers will be of “That’s Entertainment!”

Doesn't that seem excessive?

Hopefully they aren't all from Lady Gaga's album, those songs suck.

i thought they were going to write original songs and would either blow us away or just suck. this seems lazy. maybe they will bring my attention to a song i never heard before, though.
