feels too easy and unbelieveable , how could the police or anyone take them seriously? How are they gonna prove who they said they are when they are supposed to be kids not middle age folks It shouldnt be hard to cover up the missing guests , they could erase the records easily and no one would believe those 2 since they claim to have aged 50 yrs over night.
Its was pretty decent till the end, also not really necessary to show how they arent drowned.
That was the only good part.
The rest was junk...
And why do you call this happy anyway? They're little children having to live as middle aged people from now on.

DNA / fingerprinting can prove their identities, and the police will likely get records / documents from the doctors who ran the scheme to corroborate the kids’ stories

The only thing that was particularly hollywood was the fact that their stories were seemingly corroborated within hours.
I watched this last night and agree the ending felt rushed and wrapped everything up too neatly, however in regards to evidence that something untoward was going on at the hotel, they did have a huge on-site laboratory that would be difficult to explain away.
I suppose in a way it is refreshing that for once someone goes to the authorities and they are actually listened to.
In the real world ,such multi-billions corporation would have the best lawyers to prevent further investigation or they could pull some strings as well. Besides their claim are too outlandishly ridiculous to warrant serious investigations in the first place. How can the movie bad guys attitude be like "oh u got us, well we are done for"

shareTo me, it isn’t about the oddity of the kids having grow much older in two days; it’s about the larger group of people that mysteriously disappeared.
The detail in the story that seems like an odd inclusion, was throwing a “celebrity” into the situation. I mean, a ridiculous amount of people are going to wonder what happened to him. His disappearance is going to be investigated more publicly when there are a million fans wondering/demanding what happened.
I actually dig this story premise, but I would have thought it illogical to throw a celebrity into the story - Too many people are going to ask questions about a situation that’s trying to keep a low profile.
