I mean is anyone actually surprised? Making the previously secondary female character the hero is old hat these days for reboots etc. I mean it comes out two days before Christmas. So I'll probably be cuddled up on the sofa with a tin of sweets and the Christmas tree lit up. I doubt there will be anything on the TV I haven't seen so what else am I gonna do? :D

Well maybe, I don’t think Keanu would be associated with it if he didn’t like the direction of Neo. I’m guessing there might people who will try and make a big deal about the hidden meaning of it but it’ll probably amount to nothing.

if marvel (and most other movies) can just time travel and revert/fix everything from the previous movies, I can see neo and trinity back in virtual form or even real human form since the machines are intimate about human biology. they could easily repair both neo and trin physical bodies, and move a backup brain back into them, from the last monthly backup. :D

Apparently she shares her power with him at the end and the two of them fly toward the camera (hey, that’s better than her lecturing him on the patriarchy then flying off alone but still, Neo is cucked for most of the film and the power resides within her)

If the very ending appears to pull back on the Woke, don’t be fooled - it’ll be another bait & switch to make sure you watch the sequel.
