shareThey cast Blade as white, I will not go see it. They want to make a movie about a WHITE half vampire, vampire hunter, make a new character. With a significantly different origin story.

shareI for one do not have faith in Marvel doing it justice. I have a feeling they will want it to be pg-13 which makes things very limited as what you can do in a vampire film. I think they want this because they want it to fit in with the rest of the MCU. You know pg-13 stands the chance of higher box office results also. I for one want it to be as dark, violent and gothic as possible. I would like horror elements implemented in as well. That is what made the first two so much fun. If I had my choice of directors it would be Chad Stahelski, Gareth Evans, Alex Garland, Jennifer Kent, The Safdie brothers, Robert Eggers or Brandon Cronenberg. All of those directors either have great experience directing terrific set pieces and fight scenes or excel in horror, all of which compliment Blade.
