Pulled from the CBS fall line up? Production of season 41 indefinitely delayed? Say it ain't so, Survivor?!! Someone clarify these startling headlines, please!

COVID probably prevented filming.

It's all about COVID - Fiji wouldn't allow them to bring the 140+ people they need to film, if I recall correctly. They had to postpone it. It's not canceled. There was an announcement back in April.

It's covid. They're still supposed to come back in the spring, but I haven't heard anything yet about new filming starting. I tell ya. Even though the show has sucked lately, i'm missing it. I like the Amazing Race, but it's not the same.

^ agreed. the last few seasons have been pretty lame BUT it's still a cool looking show.

the challenges are dope.

Any word on a new season?

There is nothing on network tv. Could use this show to come back on. It seems doable during covidsince the cast and crew usually self-isolate to keep the show under wraps. Just add in testing, vaccines and they are back in business.

i am hopeful for a fall season, but there hasnt been any news yet.
