Boy Did 90s Movies Suck

Watching this 25 yrs later somehow in my youth I didn’t realize the plot hole of them switching faces also changed their entire hairstyle as well as their entire body composition. What a dumb movie.

If you had paid attention to the movie, you would have heard the surgeon explaining how they were going to change their hair and body types to fit the other person's identity but clearly you didn't, or you've never even seen this film to begin with.

Well, I don't disagree with your assessment of "Face Off". Sure, it was ridiculous - one of those where you simply suspend disbelief and try to enjoy it.

But suggesting 90s movies suck - eehh, can't join you there. Some of my all time faves came out of that decade:

"The Shawshank Redemption" "Good Will Hunting"

A couple more terrific 90s flicks: "UNforgiven" "As Good as it Gets" "Saving Private Ryan"

And this is just off the top of my head - I'm sure there are plenty more at least very good films that came out of the 1990s.

I can see why a young person without nostalgic feelings could find this movie stupid. It's so over the top (the score is the most dated thing about it, imo). But it's a lot of fun if you let go.

For me it just went on for too long. I was over it by the boat chase scene.

I thought the face swap thing was a bad plot with many flaws but was happy to go along with the ride for the most part.

I’d say the 90’s overall was the last decade for solid entertaining films.

I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with that concept, but I do think it would've helped the suspension of disbelief if they had set the story in the near future.

I know, right? - they are not even trans. And where is diversity and inclusivity, anyways? So lame. @@
