Lee Fierro, who played Mrs. Kintner has died from complications due to Covid 19. She was a theater teacher, and an actual islander on Martha's Vineyard.

I always thought she was exceptional in her confrontation scene with Brody... R.I.P.

Apparently she was 91, but given I've likely watched her once a year for the past ~35 years, and it's kind of frozen her as a 40-something mom in that way film can immortalise somebody, it touches a nerve.
Yes, it is crazy to think about. She was 45 years old during filming. Now, she's dead at 91. She lived for more years after filming Jaws (46 years) than she did before filming Jaws (45 years).
