Greatest living actor! ! !

...we all agree is not this one.

Who is it instead?

reply

Robert Pattinson, of course! Go team Cullen! Go! Go! Go!

He is angry with covid as he claims the pandemic stole years off his acting career!

reply

See, there is a silver lining to anything, even covid.

You call THAT peak??!?

He has more money than the vast majority of people will EVER have in their lifetimes. I mean, provided that he is not a profligate.

He was making $12.5 mil per movie by the end of Twilight, and that's not counting all the lifetime royalties.

I mean, it would certainly have been nice to see his career continue beyond that, but the truth is he never has to work again if he doesn't want to. Forget investments - literally the current interest rate on high-yield savings accounts (I just opened one at 4.21%) would mean an annual interest of over $500k on $12.5 mil, which once again is a lot more money than most people will ever earn, and his total net worth is estimated at $40mil.

Please keep in mind that Taylor Lautner need to pay tax on his earnings along with NET 10% back to his agent. He also have to surrender part of his earnings to his lawyers and wealth management team.
That he holds a $40 mill net worth is highly unlikely.
Furthermore his best paid productions are in the past. He is lucky if he will make 500K on his next feature.

Why do you assume that everyone has (or needs) a wealth management team?

And regardless of who he hires, he still has a lot more money than most people will ever see! The vast majority of people can't accumulate even *one* million in their lifetime.

reply

His lifetime royalties for Twilight is not worth much. $10K a year max and dropping.
