There is nastiness on both sides. I agree this has gone on too long.
We can't remove one board from Trending so that isn't going to happen.
What we are doing is returning this board to what it and all boards were intended. In the case of this board that means 99% of the threads that have been posted here would not be here and only rarely would it appear in Trending.
I'm very dismayed the politics has been returned to Trending. The trolls and Russians are going to amp up their game making so much ugliness here, it's going to be sickening.
