Trumps re-election 2020

Trump will be re-elected. Hands down. The wall may not be build then. But he has made some of his promisses come true:
- tax reform
- 2 New conservative Surpreme Court judges.
- Entry restrictions for Muslim countries
- Dialogue with North Korea
-Nafta 2.0 is negotiated
- Trade dispute seems to pay off for him (EU is dying more and more)
- Quit of the Iran Nuclear Deal (+ pressure on EU)
- Quit of the climate agreement

But his best weapon is the media and the people. Media is against him. All Democrats are against him and half of the people are against him and he is resisting. One against them all. David against Goliath. This is his game and everybody is playing and not understandig it. Now that the Korea Dialogue in Vietnam was no success and Cohen was heared at congress in Washington and the democrats start new investigations he has great approval values. He has got 44% approval these days. This is so strong concerning all these facts.
And when democrats will play along the game and nominate a "socialist" candidate and so also a third party candidate will separate the democratic votes the win of Donald Trump will be even higher in 2020.

With the majority of responses it appears that Trump haters are not actually prepared for this possibility ... ?

Will there be more crying in the streets? (Should he remain their POTUS).

reply

You don't speak for me. I'm a Trump hater but I'm also a realist--I think he's going to win again.

reply

He may very well win re-election and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

My faith in our countrymen is flushed so far down the sh!tter that I wouldn't even put it past that fat slob to somehow manage to serve more than 8 years.

Never in my life have I been this disenchanted with my own country and its people.

We needed a change for uber-Political Correctness but we didn't need this. This is actually worse.

So, yes--he may very well win again. I hate like hell to admit it but I'm a realist and I'm firmly convinced at this point that there is absolutely NOTHING that could ever deter his base at this point. NOTHING. It's literally like a cult at this point. Hell, let's just call his base for what it is: a cult.

I'm an independent and I have no illusions otherwise: the left is just as much at fault for this monster existing in the White House. They don't have their sh!t together at all. Their 2020 campaign instills almost no confidence in me.

I've watched Donald Trump get away with some of the most shocking things I've ever witnessed a living president getting away with and absolutely no repercussions for any of them.

I've given up faith on Mueller being the answer, impeachment--any of it.

So, yes--your guy might win again. Cheer it on. Bask in your "victory" but know that it's a hollow one with no real meaning. Know that this is all terrible for our country. Trump wasn't the cause--he is just a symptom of a malignant cancer spreading throughout our country.

Neither side has their act together and I think the dems are fcking MORONS to do what they're doing with this 2020 campaign--making all the same goddamn mistake they made in 2016 x100. Idiots. Might as well hand the orange madman his victory now and call it a day.

Our country has sunken so low that we managed to elect arguably one of the most evil presidents our country has had since Jackson. WAY worse than Nixon.

Donald Trump is a shining example of how liars, cheats, cons and evil people can almost always get ahead in the world and somehow evade accountability for any of it.

I see no cause for celebration here. Our country is in BIG trouble and it's the fault of BOTH sides.

Well said....

There seems to be an unrelenting effort to continually attempt to find a legal workaround to remove Trump from office that has been happening since the last election. The justification on trying to find something, anything on Trump is that it is in the best interests of the people to do so - it's no wonder people see it as a witch hunt.

The energy surely could be far better spent trying to add value to the US as a whole.

reply

I believe with all my heart that Trump is guilty of a great many crimes. On those grounds alone, he deserves to be removed. They HAVE to find SOMETHING to pin in order to remove him in a formal and legal way. Whatever it takes--I'm game--but Trump DEFINITELY needs to go.

I'm a realist--our nation needs a change...it does NOT need Trump and his so-far-right-it's-stone-age policies. We need a MIDDLE GROUND.

Trump is mentally ill, corrupt and entirely unfit for office. He's the most embarrassing president I have ever witnessed by FAR and makes those clowns Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barack Obama all look like LINCOLN in comparison.

Trump needs to go. He's a CANCER to this country. Will it happen? I have my doubts. Bernie and Biden are our only shot at ALL of getting Trump removed in 2020. Whatever Mueller concludes will either be underwhelming (IE: Nothing solid to pin on Trump) or swept under the rug until his presidency is over. Either way, the ones who even have a prayer in the 2020 election are Biden and Bernie--no one else. If they choose to run anyone other than those two then I'll automatically give up and accept that Trump will win in 2020. No one else has a prayer. NO ONE--only MAYBE Bernie and Biden.

I'm a realist--far left won't help and far right won't help. A middle ground would. What a crying FCKING shame that that will never happen...

And, to tell you the truth? I'm over it. I'm so fcking over it. Both sides are STUPID and I've never seen this with more clarity in my entire life until these last few years.

reply

So you firmly believe something despite not having any evidence or even the slightest clue as to what it might be...

I appreciate the honesty but seriously, that ain't right.

reply

Depends on how you define "evidence" and "clue".

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I couldn't care less, though, to be honest.

Unfortunately, the election was hijacked. Still waiting on that investigation into chicanery.

reply

Did you mean the manyi investigations that have already been thrown out because they contained no substance?

reply

They contained substance and nothing was investigated. The 2016 election was thoroughly investigated and it found that Trump won fair and square.

Wasn't Obama President in 2016? Why did he allow this?

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation did not find sufficient evidence that President Donald Trump’s campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the United States’ 2016 election and did not take a clear position on whether Trump obstructed justice.

"There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America's elections, in part because they're so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved. There's no evidence that that has happened in the past, or that there are instances that will happen this time" - President Obama

President Obama mocked Donald Trump's suggestion that the November election could be "rigged" Thursday.

"Of course the elections will not be rigged. What does that mean?" Obama asked when he was questioned about Trump's comments at a press conference Thursday.

"I've never heard of somebody complaining about being cheated before the game was over or before the score is even tallied," the president said.

Why is Russia only capable of hacking US elections when Republicans win?

How do we know Russia didn't hack 2020? We should spend the next 3 years investigating this...

In an October 2020 interview with The Atlantic, Clinton said, "There was a widespread understanding that [the 2016] election was not on the level. We still don’t know what happened … but you don’t win by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’"
