This is stupid! I get some people have disagreements about Page's choice, but just leave it alone. I think people should be free to have their personal choice. Let them be who they want to be and stop going after them if you disagree with their choices. If you keep going on about them, you're probably just keeping what you dislike alive and I seriously doubt you're going to change many or most likely anyone's opinion on the internet.

Feel free to not watch movies by this person anymore, but in my opinion, people just need to stop giving attention to things that ultimately end up being personal choices.

If Page says some stupid shit or cool shit on the internet, I can see that being a topic of discussion, but going on and on about whether she should've turned into a he has been played out and has not been a very productive conversation, at least from what I've seen.

Yes, people should always have the right to express their opinion, but is this really a battle worth fighting? People are going to do what they want to do, so if they're not hurting you, leave that shit alone and focus on more on things that are actually important.

You're not getting the point. She is a trans trender, not a transgender. She was perfectly happy identifying as a woman for 33 years of her life. Society is encouraging people to become trans with this radical transgender ideology. And it's erasing lesbians in the process.

This is not a "personal" thing. She's brought it to the public, she's desperate for attention. Heck, she even was on the Time cover with her shit. If she spares the public with her crap, the public will leave her alone too.

I'm all for individuals doing whatever they see fit with their lives and their bodies. It's really nobody's business.

But, when they constantly rub it in your face, and expect you to stand on a chair and cheer, I am offended by their self-involvement.

What about pedophiles, serial killers, terrorists? Should they be able to say and do what they like? They might not commit crimes and until they do, they could turn into pains in the ass. Let's not confuse free speech with free will.

This is about Elliot Page and has nothing to do with people who have the desire to commit criminal acts so there's no analogy to be made there. It's not a difficult distinction to make.

Pal, I feel you're being touchy over this. Elliot Page is not a criminal but does things in ignorance of what's acceptable. By that I mean the definition of what's constitutes a man in society. Does she currently have a penis? No. She changed her upper but not her lower body so what is she? A bug? There's a solid definition for what's constitutes a man in society and she ignores it.

That "solid" definition is changing. You may never accept it but the direction it's moving is pretty clear. Younger generations are more and more accepting and what constitutes normal is fluid. Bottom line, times will change whether you're willing to change with them or not. If Elliot Page wants to identify as a man, it's all good by me.
