The best singer of all time.

Only someone who has never heard any of the hundreds of thousands of recordings made by thousands of other singers over the past century could possibly make such an idiotic statement.

Not my all time favorite singer, but Sinead was a rare talent regardless. My favorite Sinead O'Connor album is her Irish folk album titled Sean Nas Nua. Check it out.

It's not really fair that her fame was mostly from a Prince cover song, that kind of belittles her talent to the equivalent of Bananarama, who were famous for the same reason (I'm Your Venus). But really, she's a fantastic singer who chose to throw her career and life away.

I'd go with Tina Turner. She's simply the best.

Carly Simon because nobody does it better.
