Hair transplants?

Besides major plastic surgery on her face, it also seems she has had hair transplants. Otherwise, I can't explain her significant hairline change.

This woman doesn't even look like herself anymore!

reply

Lmao. Her family has great hair. Her fathers hair was legend. I highly doubt its hair transplants. Most likely the way she combs it has changed..

reply

Her father had great hair, she not so much. Her bangs always seemed to start on the top of her head.

Just look at pictures where you can see her hairline:

Her mother also has a pretty high forehead:

reply

those pictures really don't show me anything other than the possibility her stylist uses Toppik as a hair filler. Men and women in the media who are in front of a film/tv camera use Toppik a lot to make their hair look fuller.

reply

I actually think that's ALSO the case. But in some pictures that are sharp enough to distinguish the hairs, her actual hairline appears to be lower than before.

And a picture she seems to have taken herself:

I wish I could do a side-by-side, because I think the difference isn't even that small.

I just can't believe how much she's changed.

reply

Maybe. when I used slick my.hair back my forehead always appeared larger. She has her hair really tight when its back and when it's free flowing then hairline snaps back a bit I'm sure. As for her mom..... Wow she has really overdone it with the botox....

reply

The mom does not look very good.

reply

Abducted by aliens and replaced by a reptilian!

reply

What a weird accusation since she's woman, unless you have proof that she was "balding" I don't see any evidence backing up your claim.

reply

Accusation??? You act like it's a crime or something to get hair transplants.😐

Why does it matter she's a woman??? Some are born with a high hairline. What a strange assumption that a woman must be balding to get hair transplants.

I made no claim, I proposed a theory. If you want to see "evidence", just click on the links.

reply

Ellen-cum-Elliot Page is also guilty of hiding her receding hairline.

reply

You're making a simple observation about differences in her appearance with a viable explanation, but Bourbon takes it as malevolent misogyny. Seriously?

reply

I'm a little confused as well. I'm a woman myself and was not even criticizing the possible use of hair transplants.

reply

These photos date from 2006 and are part of an article about how versatile her hair style is, or rather was - personally I think it looks a lot better now.
I suggest an alternative theory that what we may be seeing here is a long term change to a less severe hair regime that has allowed her hair to naturally thicken and perhaps recover from excessive treatments - or whatever the hell it is that some people put thier hair through.
For those of us sad enough to join this thread (like me) this was the article https://www.hairboutique.com/articles_p/short-hair-jennifer-landon-emmy-winning-short-tresses-2/

reply

I agree with your theory and not because women tend to not go bald, because they can, but women can grow back hair due to over-treatment and style manipulation. There are also forms of alopecia that occur due to lack of certain vitamins and nutrients. A simple change in that can also result in fresher skin and fuller hair (EVERYWHERE)

reply

Your theory is plausible, but the thing is that Jennifer already had a high hairline as a young girl:

I do think another possibility is cosmetic tattooing.

Her hair does look better. Not a fan of the plastic surgery, though.

reply

What a strange topic to Landon.

reply

Yes. And I suspect all the contributers are male - we are a sad bunch but at least it's a polite conversation.

reply

"And I suspect all the contributers are male"

That's rather prejudiced, isn't it? You're wrong, by the way.

reply

Oops well I guess there was a fair chance I would be so apologies. But I don't see it as particularly prejudiced. It's just a seems silly, non-movie topic to focus on - possibly I'm wrong about that as well?

reply

So men are more silly than women? It's not always necessary to be serious about movies. I was just amazed at how much this woman has changed in appearance and I was wondering why.

reply

At least some of the time (it would be boring to spend all out time making the important decisions). I was just surprised to find myself sucked in to this thread - I guess it was the photos.

reply

she looks fine. that's not transplants

reply

I said nothing about it looking bad. You can not at all be sure they're not transplants. It's not the same for women.

reply

it's way too thick for transplants. that's the last thing a woman would do.

reply

What would you know about what a woman would do?!

So she wouldn't go with thick transplants, but she would go with something else that looks thick...

As I said above, I think it's also a hair filler like Toppik.

reply

if hair transplants looked that good i would get them

reply

Well, she did do SOMETHING, because her hairline looks totally different.

Again, having a high hairline is not the same as male baldness. Make-up can help as well.
