Not suicide but very tragic.Mockingly pretending to kill himself with a prop gun and actually shooting himself.Poor guy never saw it coming.
shareAs I recall, he was toying with the gun on the set and placed the gun to his temple. The gun had blanks in it, but the shot had enough force to send parts of his skull into his brain. Very tragic, freak accident.
Yep. As I recall, he was playing Russian Roulette with a .44 magnum loaded with blanks. Most people that know little about guns don’t understand the force that those blanks put out at close range. Even the rubber riot balls that the police use can be lethal at closer ranges. Very sad, and taken down in his prime. I’m old enough to remember his dude, and when he was plastered all over the pages of playgirl on the magazine racks.
That Voyagers show co-starring that Meeno Peluce kid (Best known from that Best Of The West series) wasn’t half bad as I recall.
I remember in the Army we were taught NEVER to point a weapon at a person when shooting blanks. The chemical residue that is discharged has the hitting power of a small caliber firearm.
