Can't figure this guy out........

didn't he have TDS this past 4 years, now he has woken up and come to his senses ?

reply

I think he finally realized that he is as self-centered, obnoxious and egomaniacal as Trump, not to mention stupid and ADD. The guy cannot concentrate on anything for more than a few seconds and has to continually interrupt to ask more obnoxious questions. He thinks he knows everything like Trump too

reply

Well, then.......

at least he finally see the left wing morons in Hollywood for what they really are

reply

yeah, true, some of them are,
but if you are really watching there are far more Right-wing morons, and what they advocate for is much more toxic.

reply

right wingers did not ruin comedy and entertainment.

woke left wingers did that, that is also why they are hated all over the world.

that, and of course their love for a woman hating religion.

reply

So you are saying:

woke left wingers | ruin comedy and entertainment | love for a woman hating religion | are hated all over the world
Go back to god and pray for a new brain, you clearly got a defective one.

reply

I am Muslim, be careful what you say.

reply

Or what?

reply

Or you prove again to be a racist bigot filled with hate.

reply

👍

reply

Perfect, so you know EXACTLY what he's talking about when he mentions a woman hating religion. Good of you to acknowledge it.

reply

You don't know much about comedy. Many comedians stopped playing college campuses because the woke crowd was crying about everything and ruining the show. Anyone who can't understand that comedy has been destroyed by liberals is either naive or just plain stupid.

reply

> You don't know much about comedy.

You don't know much about discussion anything. I see this over and over - dummies with no point have to make a claim that I don't know much about something because they have no real point.

You just listen to a few lout comedians hooking up with right-wing bozos by pandering to their angst over what is going on college campuses ... which most of you probably never set a foot on in your lives anyway.

Comedy destroyed by Liberals, haha, that might be the only funny Conservative joke that exists.

reply

You also don't know much about punctuation, evidently.🤣

reply

yeah, it's enough to watch thunderforce or ghostbusters 2016 to see the state of liberal "comedy".

reply

There is a huge difference between a Democrat and a woke Democrat. Maher has never been a fan of wokeism. I mean he was the host of a show called Politically Incorrect before Real Time.

Anyone who has followed Maher knows he has never been a fan of PC (imv the precursor to woke).

reply

It's all a bit too late (coming from him, especially)

reply

He's an idiot. It doesn't matter if the movies are sad or happy, they are nominated based on their quality. Nomadland, Trial of the Chicago 7, Judas and the Black messiah are excellent films and deserve their nominations.

reply

Bill Maher an idiot? Okay. Of those you listed I've only seen Chicago 7 and thought it was mediocre at best. Sorkin is overrated and admits he didn't even know the actual story beforehand. I liked Sacha in Borat, but them recreating the '60s trial was pretty average. I'd prefer to just see a documentary of the trial of which there are many.
But Oscars have been worthless in regards awarding for decades, and they've always been picked based on factors that have to do with in crowd politics first, popularity second, reputation third, and maybe merit fourth.
As for past best picture winners I've seen most of them and the last one I agreed with was Rainman.

reply

Better late than never.

reply

The Best Picture nominees are nothing but pretentious trash. Gone are the days of movies being nominated for Best Picture that were loved by both audiences and critics.
