My disdain for Stanley derives from him having made himself the face of Marvel Comics, while we forget about important talents like, say, Steve Ditko. Why do I post my tirade here? To press The Gods to answer why they took a significant cultural icon, Hef, before they took a triviality like Stan Lee. My posts have been about Hef's cultural importance and lifespan, as compared to one of his contemporaries who is, if not exactly still alive and kicking, then at least still breathing. I don't think it's fair, and I am expressing myself.

I'm very impressed, Shogun. I've an online persona that is based on, but different from, my real-world self, just like my real name is not R_Kane. Professionaly and personally, I help people to improve their lives, and I love it. I once took a trip with Uber, at the end of which my driver said, "Thank you. I spend two minutes with you, and you change how I look at the world." As a disabled athlete, I've helped to develop new prosthetics technologies that have liberated others who also have above-knee leg amputations. As a gym rat, I've had hundreds of strangers walk up to me and say how much I have inspired and motivated them. As a patient, I have had many medical professionals tell me how much they have learned from me, which allows them to help others. And, as an author, I have helped thousands upon thousands of people to have lives that are more globally healthy, because you cannot have a healthy body absent a healthy spirit.
