Can we lock up scum like him?

This shit is a criminal, like he so hardly tries to appear.
Is the legal system able to lock him up in spite of his very undeserved money?
Or is Mike Tyson the only rapist in Hollywood history ever to get jailed?

reply

You don't think there ought to be an investigation first, and then a trial? You're ready to lock him up because you think he's scum? Based on what evidence?

reply

Where you been man, it's charge and conviction by mere accusation these days.

Well, until it's their turn and then somebody starts moaning about the law, juries and the rest of that nonsense.

reply

OBVIOUSLY I meant AFTER a trial.

Too difficult to understand that, AFTER A FUCKING TRIAL he will probably escape incarceration because of his ill gotten money and not because he is innocent LIKE I WROTE IN THE OP???

I wrote legal system and lock him up. Is a trial not obviously included in that process or do I need to spell out every step of said process?

reply

I don't think you made that clear at all. Your subject line is "can we lock up scum like him?" and you closed by referring to him as a rapist. That certainly makes it seem like you believe he is rapist scum and deserves jail. It appears that the other four people who responded here took away the same meaning as I did, so I think it's clearly your phrasing that caused the confusion.

reply

That certainly makes it seem like you believe he is rapist scum and deserves jail. Clearly it does, I am glad that is established.
Where I live, you get a jail sentence AFTER a trial, not before.
What happens where you live?

And I would not quote the two other posts after this if I were you, they are clearly morons.

reply

So then we're back to you making your mind up before a trial, and before any facts have been laid out.

I live in Texas, USA, where we wait for all the facts to come forth before making a judgment.

reply

What are you talking about?
I said what I think, which BTW is quite reasonable and agreeable if you hear the facts.
Then I siad that it's clear that there should be a trial for his crimes, to give him the sentence he deserves.

Do I need to state the OBVIOUS by writing that "...sentence he deserves if there is enough proof to give him said sentence, after all sides are heard and all facts are investigated"? No shit! A trial should hand out a sentence to a guilty party, not to an innocent one. I would think that the world "trial" automatically implies all that and more, and does NOT imply any of the stuff YOU are inferring about MY position.

reply

Due process.

reply

Sure.
They have searched his house today.
Fingers crossed.

reply

Damn, I had no idea, I can’t imagine that they come up empty handed.
This will be interesting nonetheless.

reply

It'll be about time.

reply

The way childlike emotional Democrat lemmings minds work is frightening. These children shouldn’t be let within 100 miles of the legal system, or the political system, or public discourse for that matter.

reply

Nope. He's rich and powerful.

reply

And should not The Law be above that?

reply

I don't know what happened.

I do know he is a mogul and quite rich. Not a "mogul" in the usual usage of that word but he is rich and successful at what he does. That alone would make him a target for lawsuits.

I just don't know enough about him or the allegations yet. He deserves a trial at least before we lock him up.

Perhaps we should wait and see.

reply

Yes but my OP asks if we can lock him up ever, after we have a trial and it is clear that he did it.
I doubt we can.

reply

Third lawsuit in less than a month...

reply

That would be premature. This is obviously another OJ situation where the Man is jealous of Diddy's success and has framed him. Just watch, it'll all come out that in 1979 when the lead investigator in this case was a rookie, he said the N-Word. Case closed, you racist!

reply

How is his money undeserved? He's been a major producer for three decades, dealt with a ton of major artist, and built a fortune.

I don't even like him, but he earned his money. It's not like he was born into it.

reply

El Chapo worked even more and has been a major producer for three decades.
It does not mean he deserved the money he got for making that SHIT.

reply

Couple things here.
A. El Chapo was a drug kingpin who built dirty money, whereas Diddy ran a legitimate record lable and clothing line. Whatever shady shit he did in his free time doesnt change the fact that he got very rich through perfectly legal means.
B. El Chapo's money may have been dirty, but he did still earn it by selling a product and running a business(a cartel no less).

Now if your argument is that they don't deserve the money for being scumbags, you're welcome to your opinion, but in both of those cases, they did earn it(legally in Diddy's case), so what they deserve to have is up for debate.

reply

No, my argument is that they don't deserve the money because they were selling shit.
