I don't really know any Derek & the Dominoes

reply

Layla?

reply

No. I've heard the album briefly but don't remember any.

reply

You haven't heard the song "Layla"? The "Goodfellas" pink caddy scene?

reply

I've seen Goodfellas many times. I just don't remember the album that well to know that that was the song.

reply

Got ya.

reply

I love Layla.

You look wonderful tonight is touching.

Then, I found out he used to get drunk and beat the shit out of the girl the songs are about.

Hard to listen to now.

reply

He used to shoot heroin as well.

reply

Yeah and kid fell out the window.

That's sounds like some druggie shit to me.

reply

Actually I believe he was clean at that time. It was the cleaning lady that had opened the window to clean it. There is now an ordinance that makes it code for windows above a certain floor to be un-openable.

reply

I don't know what the real story is because they certainly would lie if they were laying there out of their minds and the kid fell. That or they just didn't care about the kid because he was a product of their bullshit.

They aren't going to say that.

reply

At the risk of sounding snappy, I suggest you research before you slander a person.

reply

It's not slander to suggested a person lied. It is to say they lied.

The child was improperly supervised while his parents did whatever.

reply

So you're just going to make shit up now. Have at it.

reply

You forgot "Blind Faith". "Can't Find My Way Home"

Hello old friend
It's just a perfect song to listen to while hangingout on a boat and having a beer with some friends

reply

I loved Hungry from the same album. A lot more energetic, and the same singers and players.
Yes, I love Hello Old Friend, but I liked the rock of Hungry, and it was buried at the end of the album.

reply

Don't forget his guest appearance on Phil Collins's "I Wish It Would Rain Down"!
