I'll be Captain Obvious, but...YouTube is a lifesaver.

It's good for finding and listening to cool movie and video game soundtracks. Also good for helping you find songs that you heard before but never knew the name until you Googled some of the lyrics. Overall a good platform for music. Really improved my quality of life!

At first it was one for a couple of seconds, then it was two, now it’s sometimes 15 seconds; when’s it going to end? 😡

I agree - the ads are annoying, moreso than ever before.

If I have a choice, I'll watch something on Rumble.

It's better. Think Wild West of the internet - for the time being.

It's apparently banned in France.

If you're so inclined, you can find a recent video there that has been scrubbed from legacy news - I don't recommend you find it by the way.

If you watch YouTube via a laptop using duckduckgo as your browser and don't sign in to YouTube, it blocks the ads for you.

Doesn't work on tv or phones but anything run by Windows or mac will work.

I use Brave Browser for my Mac & YouTube Revanced for my Android.

The ad experience on my tv sucks ballz tho.

Ad-blocker, but I have in the past just to avoid the commercials and realized... ad-blocker

There have been times I'll type in a search (sometimes omitting YouTube results after the initial try) and get DailyMotion and/or Vimeo

TOTALLY AGREE...A LOT OF WONDERFUL ORIGINAL CONTENT ON THEIR TOO...ALI AND I SUSCRIBE TO A COUPLE DOZEN CHANNELS THESE DAYS...REDLETTERMEDIA,THE ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD,HACK THE MOVIES,PIXEL GAME SQUAD...BEING FAVORITES.

I love YouTube! So much useful information at your fingertips. The ads are quickly ignored within 5 sec. Plus, it's great for hard to find movies.
