Did you know that John Entwistle called them ‘The Bores’ because they didn’t have a bass player.

reply

I did not know that. I posted this pic to see if anyone would catch Jim’s package. Lol

reply

😆😆 Can't unsee....no!

reply

😧

reply

Andy, I know you go to lots of concerts of many genres. Have you ever seen Sleater - Kinney? I knew nothing about them beforehand, and I caught one of their shows last night. These ladies still kick ass and they have fans that go nuts!

reply

I am embarrassed to say that I’ve never heard of them.

reply

I wish I knew how to post a video from last night. I’m now a fan.

reply

Anyone know Sleater - Kinney? I’ve never heard of them but I’m about to walk into their concert tonight.

reply

Sounds like some redneck band.

reply

I don’t think so. This line of people are mostly dressed in black. 😃

reply

Okay, Goth chicks!

reply

Just got out. It was a “riot girl” band and they played lots of their songs from the 90s.

reply

What do you think of this? I was totally unaware of this band in the 90's and just discovered this recently. This is really killer!

reply

Never heard of them either, but yeah, it’s great.

reply

Milli Vanilli. Nah, I'm just joking.

reply

I think Milli Vanilli was given a bum rap.

I'm curious about your views on this topic I posted on the "Politics" board: https://moviechat.org/bd0000082/Politics/65eabc98f2779932a4ef73fa/Will-a-child-raised-by-a-gay-couple-experience-hardships-later-in-life?reply=65eba065bc8cde6312e92cea

Oops! 🤣

But thanks, I posted on that thread. There are quite a few morons!

reply

The "Politics" board has "interesting" characters. They seem full of venom. But then again, politics often brings out the worst in people.

The thing is I'm not your standard conformist faggot who says "lets gets married and adopt a bunch of kids". Oh yuck. Fuck that. There's no point in being gay if you're gonna do that.

But still, if by some chance, as often happens, gay guys end up raising somebody's kids, it usually works out.

But that AmeriGirlTwat? Gimme a break! 🤣

reply

Oh jeez. No order, but I'll get close to 100 and with all the music I have, that's kind of the equivalent of a top ten. Then if I get a second wind, will add more.

[edit] Music and movies are wonderful sources of goodness, both of which have broader genres, and near infinite variations and combinations of theme, etc. I welcome anyone who happens upon something they like from me, to request anything that might share any aspect from broad to micro-similarities, or perhaps I should have started with if you have any odd musical itches, such as something that uses odd mixes of instruments, and varies their musical styles, with an emphasis on melancholy, feel free to ask away. Or Japanese hardcore punk, etc.

The only one that has been constant since the 80s is Depeche Mode.

I have a lot of bands that I like, that I listen to a lot, but I can never decide on favourites.

Damn, you're right. I forgot about Depeche Mode. Thoroughly great band!
