For someone who corrects the posts of others you are surely lacking in language proficiency yourself. The convention of writing out numerical representations below ten in words rather than using numbers is so common and established that any high school student could easily correct your error.
1. Spell out numbers under 10
When writing numbers under 10 in a sentence, they should be spelled out. This is true regardless of where they fall in a sentence.
