Now that you all mentioned stuff I remembered drinking cherry 7up & cherry coke. Sunkist orange, Fresca or Country time lemonade were occasional treats visiting grandma's house👍

Drinking soda is horrible for your teeth. It coats them with sticky sugar. Mountain Dew has the most sugar and caffeine. My brother has had at least four teeth removed because of it. You can buy caffeine pills at any store for the hit, without damaging your teeth.
shareYes I realize Mountain Dew is one of the worst ones now. At the time it had an addicting flavor to it. Could have been the caffeine.. probably why I was so hyperactive as a kid. I just chew sugarless gum now to keep my teeth clean.

shareThere was this small store in my town that sold home-brand soda, loved it as a kid. Sadly, neither the store nor the soda exist anymore. Also something called Spritz was pretty fun.
