Have You Ever Been To 3-Star Michelin-Rated Restaurant?

I haven't. There are 139 in the world.

There are only six in California, and five are in San Francisco Bay area. There's one in San Diego.

I may not have even been to a 1-Star Michelin restaurant. I went to Wolfgang Puck's "Spago" in Beverly Hills in the (later) 1990's (after all the hoopla had died out.) Overpriced, but I wasn't paying...

Do they have Cabbage Bog on the menu ?

Here's their list of Barbeque joints:

(They're pretty fast and loose with what they consider to be "barbeque.")

Man, there are some incredible looking dishes in that link. Also a few I wouldn't touch :)

I ate at Eleven Madison Park, but it doesn't count because it was a different owner, before the three stars. It was still very good!

The highest end restaurant I ever ate at was Chanterelle, which has since closed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chanterelle_(New_York_City_restaurant)

I think they might be wasted on me.

Good thing they don't have 3-Tire Michelin Cars!

reply

LOL! I seem to recall that Citroen cars could run on 3 wheels...

No, and I really don't care for that type of food. Beautiful presentations and I'm sure it's delicious but if I spend that much money on a dinner, I want to feel like I'm full, (definitely don't mean stuffed.)

The BBQ looks more appetizing.

For those who can't go to Michelin restaurants and who do live in North America, I recommend the Cheesecake Factory.

No, and I'm not planning to, until "Molecular Gastronomy" goes away!

Enough with torturing food into weird forms, I'll be at the ethnic hole-in-the-wall places until they quit that shit.
