That was unbelievable!
shareMakes you wonder what the heck the driver was doing that she didn't see the truck...
Sheesh.

shareAnd they're not even wearing seatbelts! ๐คญ I have to say that I laughed when I saw the model of car they were driving. ๐คฃ
shareWhat's funny about the model of car they were driving?
shareJust to clarify, I was talking about nytc7's clip, not the one I posted. Her clip was of infamous stunt in "The Man With the Golden Gun" when Roger Moore was driving an AMC Hornet, I believe. When I see AMC, I think Rambler, like the car my grandfather last owned. Not necessarily known for speed or "cool." Yes, his was a station wagon.

A Rambler was not fast but sure does look cool, I like them, they are easy Sunday morning cruisers.
No need to rush in a big Rambler.
I'd have to say my favorite car that I've ever owned was a 1978 Chevrolet station wagon. I wish more car companies still made station wagons. I don't want an SUV - I want an actual station wagon.
I will never forget the time my granddad was showing us around the Muncie, IN area where he last lived. At one point, he took us to the airport, and as he parked, somehow, he drove over one of these concrete bumpers:

His response? "Oh, shucks." Still makes me chuckle a bit when I think of it.
It looked like something Evel Knievel would have attempted back in the day! ๐ณ I had not seen that...wow!
shareThe deck of some of those wreckers are so used and grimy that they look like a road surface. When the deck is tilted like that, the cab of the truck might not be easily visible to a car doing 65 with a driver on their iPhone while driving. By the time they realize itโs a stopped wrecker, itโs too late and the next second they are airborne.
shareConsidering how many first responders, etc., that were on scene, and even if they were on the opposite side of the median, she should have slowed down. But like you said, she may have been on her phone. Distracted driving is often a killer.

She did what everyone who has driven a car has thought of doing when they see one of those ramps.
Mental note made, landing will probably be expensive.
Wow
