Many years ago with single shot rifles at two different summer camps.
Not a very good shot and I still don't understand what "squeezing the trigger" means vs pulling it.
How in the fuck can you squeeze something that small with a small finger which barely touches it?
That was it and I have no desire to ever shoot one again.
Last year, I fired one for the first time. Glock 19 at an indoor range. It seriously gives you an appreciation of how powerful guns are and why you should always handle them with the utmost care. When I see people waving them around like props in videos it turns my stomach.

shareYep. I'm in the military and I grew up in a rural area. Honestly I don't get the fear or adoration people have for shooting. To me, it's like fixing a deck. You gotta do it right and be sure the others around you aren't messing around because people could get hurt or something could be damaged.
