Do you like to sleep with a window open during the cool seasons?
Obviously the temperature has to be somewhat moderate, but a lot of people like the cold, fresh air while others don't want to chill their surroundings that much.

shareI sleep with it open, but I'm always a bit afraid. I grew up in L.A. when the Night stalker was crawling through windows, and killing people.
shareIf it's around 4°c /39°f or above i always leave my small windows open. I find it's too stuffy otherwise. Once the frist frost starts and I need to scrape the car windows, I generally close them.
It's about 2 or 3 °c at night right now in Britain. Almost March, and my windows are open a crack overnight again.
Yes I have the option to latch the window with a very small opening. But like Shogun, I don't want to pay to keep the room comfortable while working to allow the cold air to get in. And I forget to turn the thermostats down at night, so I'm always annoyed when I wake up and it's 70F when I should have at least made it 68F.
shareNo, I don't because leaving a window partially open disarms our security system, but we do turn the heat way down at night, (below 60), because we don't sleep well when its too warm in the room. We have a separate heater in our bathroom, so that stays nice and toasty.
shareThat's funny, since the bathroom is the one where I have the temp a tad lower because I don't spend too much time in there, or if I do, it's in a hot shower. Pretty much leave it at 65 while the rest of the house is 66 and my personal space is 68-70 unless I'm gone for the day when I turn it to 65.
shareNo, I have a big fan that I have on while I sleep. It does more than an open window.
